Orphaned and alone, Reese Sandison ventures outside the safe confines of Bellville, Maine, just once, and comes back from Vegas with an unexpected souvenir.  When the seductive Dom from her wicked weekend shows up on her doorstep and a blizzard traps them in her cottage, she must deal with the secret she’s keeping and emotions she’s resolved never to feel again.

“Reese,” he said softly, framing her face with his hands. “I don’t want to startle you like I did before, so I’m going to tell you. I’m going to kiss you again.”

“Why?”

“Because I like kissing you,” he replied.

His lips came down on hers, gently, moving over her mouth until she sighed and closed her eyes. His tongue slipped through her already parting lips and quickly entangled with hers. Warmth filled her, pooling and gathering between her thighs. She could feel his body against her, surrounding her, and caught her breath as his cock pressed her belly.

“No,” she gasped, turning her head.

“Yes, Reese,” he murmured, moving his mouth along the side of her face. “Yes. You’re too honest to deny this.”

“I don’t know you and you don’t know me, not really,” she protested. “I don’t know what happened in Vegas or how we got together, but…”

She watched the heat in his eyes fade as he grew serious.

“I’m not sure either. Ben, my cousin, is trying to piece that together. But I think we need to try to retrace our steps and work on it ourselves.”

She nodded, waiting for him to step away. Instead, he wrapped his arms around her back and held her to him. Unaccustomed to such closeness, Reese stayed still. Except for the trembling in her upper body that she couldn’t seem to help.

“Please,” she whispered, realizing she wasn’t even sure what she wanted.

His fingers gripped her chin and tilted her face up.

“Please what?” he asked. Blushing, she dropped her eyes to his chest. A low chuckle rumbled against her breasts. “You know what you want, Reese. At least your body does.”
